Do my original documents leave my building?
No. We scan everything onsite. Your originals stay in your control the entire time and are handed back exactly as they came.
Can you scan bound logbooks and fragile pages?
Yes, and it's a specialty. Bound and fragile records can't go through a feeder, so we use contactless overhead capture that photographs each page from above without stressing the binding.
How long does a project take?
It depends on volume and document type. Loose paper moves fast; bound and fragile material is slower and more careful. Send us a rough scope and we'll give you a realistic timeline with the quote.
What condition do my records need to be in?
Whatever condition they're in. Prep is part of the job: our crew handles unboxing, sorting, and preparing the material for capture.
The technology
What do I actually get at the end?
A custom AI built on your records, behind a private portal. Ask it questions in plain English and get answers with citations back to the source page. You also get the searchable digitized archive itself, and optionally API access and an MCP server so your other tools and AI agents can connect.
Is this just a chatbot on my files?
No. We build a custom AI grounded specifically in your documents: your aircraft, your cases, your records. It's not a generic assistant guessing from the open internet; it answers from your data and shows you the source.
What does “then ask anything” mean?
Instead of searching keywords, you ask your AI a real question, like “when was the last inspection?”, and it answers from your records and shows you the exact page it came from.
Can I use my own AI model?
Yes. Unlike closed platforms, BTB keeps your data open so you can point your custom AI at the underlying model you trust, including a private one running on your own hardware.

Who owns my data?
You do. It's open, exportable, and never locked in a silo.
Can everything stay on my own servers?
Yes. For sensitive records, we deploy the entire system, data and AI, on your own infrastructure, so nothing touches the public cloud.
Is my data kept private?
Your records go into a private system that's yours. We don't pool your data or share it.
